Help - Office layout

Hello,
I’m hoping someone can help me with the layout of our home office. I’m looking for the most aesthetically pleasing way to set up two desks/workspaces in the room. The room is 15’ by 8’ with a drop bulkhead that separates one part of the space. There’s a ceiling light in the space too. I’ve included a picture for reference. The current setup doesn’t feel cohesive, and trying to use the bulkhead to separate the space doesn’t create a distinct division either.

Hi!!

I’ve seen quite a few designs with the desks against the wall next to each other. I think that might be a great idea for this room that way it leaves open space behind both desks. Ideas like these. You could even incorporate a built in between the two to add a bit of separation and storage.

Hey Rana,

Lets see what we have there. You have beautiful brown walls. A good tabel and enough space.

As a interior designer I would work like this with your room:

-Use the brown walls as reference point for your design.

-You wrote you are not happy with the place of the table. What I would do is turn the first one around, so can look out of the windows. Ad light brown or white curtains. If you work an can see nature or landscape it relaxes the eye and helps your workflow. Looking at a wall is often not productive for your creativity or brain.

I would replace the office chair with something less wild. A calm one in a dark or light brown.

You could buy a sideboard. Something to store the stuff on your table. A empty table calms the eyes. On the walls I would go with darker brown Art. Paintings or Photos in brown frames. Also ad a floor lamp in brown or white which you can dimm.

I hope it gives you some inspiration.
