Bedroom design help!

Hi all,

I’m working on a primary bedroom design – something is missing. I am questioning the nightstands, and I am not sure whether to go with a dark or a light bed. Can you let me know what you think about the designs below? I am going for a calm, serene look with some texture. Think boucle, velvet, plush carpet.

What if you add some table lamps? I’d also suggest adding framed art above the headboard, perhaps something round to match the lamps. What do you think?

I agree with this. All of the visual weight is on the bottom of the room but the art will help balance it
