Hi y’all! I’m looking for someone to take fabric I purchased and create custom roman shades. Any recommendations for places in Brooklyn near Park Slope?
I don’t have any local recs, but in my experience you can find someone great on Etsy for this! Look for a shop that already makes roman shades, and usually they are more than happy to take your custom fabric and make some.

Hi! I actually got custom roman shades from Amazon of all places. I wasn’t sure how they would be but I LOVE THEM and they’re perfect!
I’m always concerned about how easy the fabric ones are to clean, what are your thoughts on this?
I recently got a quote from these guys BetterTex for regular curtains, they also do roman. However, we’re going to end up going through someone on Etsy as their quote was like twice what everyone else’s was.

they kind of velcro on so you can easily take them down. but also depends what fabric you pick!
