Is my bedroom mood board cohesive?

I’m putting wallpaper (Idun by Borastapeter) on all walls, I have 4 horizontal windows for which I would like to get roman shades (the white with green stripes), I would like to have a small reading nook as well. I’m not sure how to make the nightstand fit a bit more, I really like it and I wouldn’t want to change it with something else

Hi @cristinacojocaru! I LOVE your bedroom mood board! I love how you are staying in the monochromatic space whilst incorporating so many patterns. I think it will look stunning. I would make sure you get wallpaper and fabric samples for the shades to ensure the whites work well together.

I love the nightstands you’ve picked out and I think they will offer a nice contrast to the bedding and rest of the selects. Just make sure you are okay with seeing cords hanging down or ideally you can place an outlet just behind the drawer to plug in the lamp and/or chargers.

I’d suggest incorporating other natural brown materials to tie it all together. For the reading nook, maybe look for a leather club chair to complement the brown from the nightstands. And maybe consider a lumbar pillow in rust or brown on the bed.

Hi! Thank you so much! :green_heart:
This is such a great insight, I have ordered samples, I will make sure to compare the whites.
You’re right about the cords, I already have an issue with seeing them as I’ve already installed the lamp and put it on the nightstand and the cord is visible at all times. I’ll try to place an outlet behind the drawer, that’s great idea!

I’ll look into leather club chair options! I was initially thinking of adding a wooden bench but a chair can work too. And I agree with the color for extra pillows on the bed! :brown_heart:

Thank you so much for your thoughtful advice!<3

Your mood board looks lovely! The Idun wallpaper and green striped roman shades go really well together. I think the nightstand adds a nice touch just adding a few wooden accents around the room could help it blend in more. A leather chair would be perfect for the reading nook, but a soft wooden bench could work too.

hi! Thank you! I also got the sample for the roman shades in the meantime and it’s lighter than in the photo so the white seems to go well with the Idun wallpaper.
Thank you so much for your suggestions! I’ll consider different options of leather chairs and wooden benches.
Definitely coming back here after I do more progress on this, I find the advice that I get here very helpful
